GENERIC NAME:

Classical Swine Fever Vaccine, Live (Tissue Culture Origin).

COMPOSITION:

This product contains attenuated swine fever virus rabbit adapted strain (CVCC AV1412). Each dose contains a minimum of 750 units of Rabbit Infection Dose.

CHARACTERISTIC:

The product presents as sponge-like loose clumps that easily disengage from the bottle wall, and rapid dissolution in the PBS.

INDICATION(S):

The product is used to prevent the Classic Swine Fever in pigs, cattle and sheep. Immunity is developed 4 days after vaccination. The immunization period for piglets without maternal antibodies after weaning is 12 months.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:

Administered through intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. Dilute as per the label, using physiological saline to achieve a concentration of 1 dose per milliliter, with each dose being 1.0 ml.

In regions without a prevalence of swine fever, piglets without maternal antibodies post-weaning can be vaccinated once. In the presence of an epidemic threat, piglets can be vaccinated at approximately 21-30 days and 65 days. Pre-weaning piglets can receive four doses of the vaccine to prevent interference from maternal antibodies, thus ensuring optimal immunization efficacy.

SPECIAL WARNING IF NECESSARY:

1. Transport under refrigeration conditions at or below 8°C.

2. Upon receipt, if the vaccine is stored in cold packaging and the storage environment exceeds 8°C but remains below 25°C, it should be used within 10 days from the reception of the vaccine.

3. Local disinfection should be performed during vaccination.

4. After vaccination, close observation is essential. In case of allergic reactions, prompt injection of adrenaline is recommended.

5. After dilution, if the temperature is below 15°C, use within 6 hours. If the temperature is between 15-27°C, use within 3 hours.

6. Used vaccine bottles, equipment, and any unused vaccines should be disposed of an an environmentally safe manner.
